News: Brain Corp Partners with SoftBank Robotics to Enter Commercial Cleaning Robot Business in Japan

San Diego, Calif. ( 11/21/2017) – Brain Corporation today announced that in the summer of 2018 it will enter the commercial cleaning robot business in Japan in partnership with SoftBank Robotics Corp. (“SoftBank Robotics”). SoftBank Robotics will offer the ICE RS26 robotic floor scrubber that comes fully integrated with automated driverless technology to enable driverless floor cleaning. News: Why This Robotics Startup Is Cozying Up to Labor Unions

In September, San Diego robotics startup Brain Corporation will introduce artificial intelligence software that allows giant commercial floor-cleaning machines to navigate autonomously. The followup offering it wants to develop may be even more forward-looking: a training and certification program for janitors to operate the machines. The program, still in early stages of planning, is aimed at both helping janitors maximize efficiency and establishing standards and best practices for the use of robots in janitorial work, according to Brain Corporation.
