Job Posting Introduction:

Brain Corp is establishing a next-generation human resources department, and we are seeking innovative professionals to join our newly-forming HR team to help build and lead best-in-class HR support in all verticals. We are adding a Sr. HR Generalist to our team to help deliver on HR strategies, projects, and activities. Our top candidates will come equipped with successful experience in managing a full spectrum of HR support across various levels of the organization while contributing to the overall success of a collaborative HR team. Position Overview:

The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for driving a full spectrum of human resources activities and to act as a trusted resource for employees and managers. This includes, but is not limited to: implementing, administering, and maintaining a variety of HR programs; and providing support at various levels within the organization. The Sr. HR Generalist will work closely with all HR team members to manage the entire employee life cycle, including Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, HR Technology, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards, Human Relations, and Business Intelligence. This position is also responsible for HR systems support and compliance, as well as providing first level support for manager inquiries.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as a resource to employees and managers in interpreting employment policies and procedures, as well as addressing questions related to our handbook, processes, and programs
  • Provide broad support for the UKG HRIS, including assisting in the testing, maintenance, auditing, and modification of HRIS modules, as well as the training of end users to meet the organization’s ongoing needs. Support will also include reviewing, inputting, auditing, and ensuring the integrity of transactional data in the HRIS for new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay rate changes
  • Support the development and utilization of standardized HR business intelligence reports and dashboards, including headcount reports, total rewards reporting, and other data reports as requested to support business queries
  • Assist in the HR system implementations and provide training to individual contributors and managers
  • Identify and execute process improvements
  • Assist in managing the firm-wide COVID-19 response and communication, tracking, and maintaining of compliance with ongoing federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Assist with the performance management processes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations, actively identify gaps through self-auditing and related processes, and propose and implement changes as necessary
  • Support the administration of the company’s benefits plans (health and welfare and 401(k)), including answering employee questions
  • Serve as a backup to other team members on the termination process, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring all paperwork, final paycheck, and other responsibilities related to terminations are completed in a timely manner
  • Bring creativity and strategic thinking on how we can nurture strong collaboration, diversity, and inclusion across geographies as we continue to grow globally
  • Mentor and develop junior HR associates and foster a team culture that maximizes everyone’s potential
  • Other duties and projects as assigned. As the company continues to grow, we anticipate the needs of the HR team to flex and the ideal candidate will flex with us

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience working in HR
  • Experience with HRIS applications used in HR tracking and reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate level knowledge of the Microsoft Office or Google Workspace suite
  • Ability to prioritize many tasks, and where needed, act with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment law and regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving, listening, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience that will set you apart from others

  • 7+ years of experience working in HR, and/or a related field
  • HR team leadership experience
  • Knowledge and experience related to UKG/Ultipro HRIS system, Greenhouse ATS, and Google Applications/Workspace
