Job Posting Introduction:

Brain Corp is establishing a next-generation human resources department, and we are seeking innovative professionals to join our newly-forming HR team to help build and lead best-in-class HR support in all verticals. We are adding a strategic Talent Development Manager to our team to lead learning and development efforts and help further cultivate a learning culture at our organization. Our top candidates will come equipped with successful experience in building and delivering company-wide learning and development initiatives, including onboarding, manager training, leadership development, career ladders and supporting learning pathways, performance management training, sponsorship programs, diversity and inclusion programs, and managing a learning management system. As SeniorTalent Development Manager, you will have an innovative, entrepreneurial approach to enable the growth and evolution of the organization. You will be a collaborative, dynamic leader who will establish and drive best-in-class learning and development strategies across the company.

Position Overview:

The Senior Talent Development Manager will assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives, identify and design appropriate training solutions for employees and leaders, and interpret trends and metrics. The Talent Development Manager will partner with leaders throughout the organization to continuously build on the learning culture across the business.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assess training and development needs to identify organization and departmental training program design, budget, and implementation objectives to support employee success
  • Work closely with department leaders to understand training needs and develop training plans accordingly
  • Recommend appropriate training methods or activities based on the audience, environment, and content
  • Implement performance metrics to track and analyze training effectiveness
  • Maintain relationships with and agreements for all external training partners and resources
  • Assist in the identification of employee development and succession planning opportunities utilizing implemented performance metrics
  • Oversee all training programs, facilitate when necessary, and provide “train the trainer” programs to support the learning needs of the organization
  • Develop remote and onsite learning curriculums in order to support all staff in all locations.
  • Develop and implement training materials and ensure materials and curriculum are relevant for existing and evolving company needs
  • Manage and monitor course enrollment and completion, providing metrics when needed
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
  • In collaboration with the VP of HR, participate in conducting employee satisfaction/engagement surveys, reporting results, and assisting in creating action plans
  • Partner with other HR team colleagues in the design and management of “stay” and “exit” interviews
  • Act as an ambassador for the Learning Culture of the organization and continually strive to implement training that focuses on creating the best possible productive working environment

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, or similar field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a role concentrating on content development, individual and group training, and the measurement of training impact

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability in project management and/or implementation of new processes, initiatives, or programs in Talent Development
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to evaluate the unique learning needs of the organization and design and deliver effective, tailored learning programs from the ground up
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect with others in genuine and meaningful ways
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills matched by strong project management capabilities
  • The ability to be a team player and build positive working relationships with others
  • Ability to manage staff resources effectively and foster a productive and a positive work environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with internal teams, HR colleagues, managers, and external partners
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality for all sensitive information

  • Proficiency in learning management software
